Don't tell me you can't I believe that you can
And don't tell me you don't cos I'm sure that you do
And when you think you shouldn't I'll say that you should
But when you think it's false I'll convince you it's true
So when you thought you couldn't I told you could
Then you told me it's wrong when I knew it was right
You thought you were sleeping but I saw you wake
You're in the middle of the daytime at the end of the night
And although you see darkness I know there is light
You think it seems near but yet it's so far
Although you remember I'll make you forget
So you think that you aren't when it's obvious you are
Don't tell me it's there cos it's definitely here
And I see that you're happy but deepdown you're sad
You feel so alive but I'm sure that you're dead
And you say you are sane but I'm telling you you're mad
Before you could see but I know you're blind
I don't beg to differ I just disagree
You tell me you're teaching what I have been taught
And if you've read all this then you're crazy like me
